Terrel Campbell
Terrel Campbell is a dedicated educator, volunteer, father, and advocate for educational equity for all students. With over a decade of experience within the classroom and administration, Terrel has been recognized for his leadership skills in and as an administrator within DCPS. Terrel serves the community as an Assistant Principal within Title1 schools for Duval County Public Schools, Director of Culture and Programming at ampED National, Fellowship, a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., and a member of the University of North Florida’s Program Advisory Team for M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. As a graduate of HBCU (FAMU), Ivy League (Teachers College Columbia University), and PWI (UNF), Terrel focuses on community impact through the lens of improving culturally relevant pedological, philanthropic, economic and social practices which will enhance outcomes for students of color. As a former Teacher of the Year candidate, distinguished Teacher for America alumnus, and Duval County Public Schools Rising Leader, Terrel leverages his wealth of experiences and accomplishments in service of ampED to help amplify the voices of black educators to help craft education policy geared toward equity, inclusion, and community uplift.
