Amplifying black voices in education policy.

Our ampED Summer Fellowship is a two-week virtual experience for young, Black educators, ages 20-40, who are ready to advocate beyond the school building at local, state, and national policy levels. Fellows will have the opportunity to connect nightly with current policymakers and education professionals from around the nation. In addition to learning from leaders, fellows will be placed in small groups to engage in intentional research and solution generation related to key issues in education policy. At the culmination of the fellowship, groups will present their research and solutions to a panel of education stakeholders with the potential of having their policy adopted in the future.
