Gladys McDougal
Gladys McDougal serves the Jacksonville community through many of her efforts. She was nominated as Biscayne Elementary's Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year. Through her courageous leadership, she was selected to join the JPEF Teacher Leader Initiative as well as assisting in the JPEF Leadership Initiative. In 2022, Gladys was also accepted as an AmpED Fellowship member where she brought light to policy of “Student Baker Acting” in Duval County where she now holds the position as the content and marketing director. McDougal Gladys has spearheaded Tracie’s Teacher’s lounge for the past two years focusing on loving on our educators in Duval County. Gladys received her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from University of North Florida in 2015. She then went on to obtain her Master's in Educational Leadership in 2019 from Grand Canyon University. Currently, she is obtaining her PhD in Educational Leadership. McDougal is a member of the Gamma Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority were “Service to all Mankind” is her passion. She serves on the Power Pack committee where they package 130-200 snack bags for the local neighborhood schools. Her multifaceted talents have continued to stem from her love for her community.
