Young, Black, Educators shaking up the education system
The ampED National Fellowship is a network of educators and policy leaders striving for better and more equitable policy in education at local, state, and national stages.
The fellowship is for young, Black educators who are ready to build their table in the education policy conversation and take their ideas and voices to the next level.
Summer Fellowship
The ampED Summer Fellowship is a two-week, virtual policy sprint for young Black educators, ages 21-40. We connect fellows with current policy makers and thought leaders and push them to find solutions to key issues in education policy.
“Following this experience, I feel more confident in my role and ability to increase and create systematic changes in my local community and state.”
— Ta’Vianna Sanders, School Principal and 2020 Fellow
